A Father ’s Perspective
A Researcher’s Skills
A Skeptic’s Instincts

Bob Noël played a major role in establishing policies for high standards and expectations, phonics-based reading instruction and structured English immersion. His leadership helped to prevent the elimination of Junior high electives (saving 50 classes), the elementary instrumental music program, and junior high Honors programs.

Bob Noël supports special programs for college-bound students (VADA, MAD, GATE, IB, AP) and career-oriented programs with integrated college-prep academics.

Millions of dollars have been misspent, while pressing needs have gone unmet (e.g., new high school classrooms). These are the results of special interest politics and failures in bureaucratic accountability.

With declining enrollments and revenues, the SB Elementary District now faces fiscal insolvency. The Secondary District is not far behind. Bob’s ability to cut to the heart of matters and his courage to speak out are needed more than ever. There is no stronger voice for oversight and accountability.
